Animal rescue management software

Run your rescue
without losing the details.

PetRescuePro gives your team one connected place to manage animal care, fosters, adoptions, contacts, documents, reports, and the follow-up that keeps animals moving safely through your rescue.

Built for rescue teams that are done piecing together spreadsheets, notes, inboxes, and group messages.

One connected rescue workspace•••

Every animal’s story, ready when your team needs it.

The record stays connected as care, custody, and people change.

The staff workspace

The program is built around the way a rescue actually operates.

Instead of separating information by spreadsheet, app, or person, PetRescuePro keeps the people, animals, care, placement, and record history connected. Open the part of the program you need, then drill into the exact animal or person without starting over.

01

Animal records and intake

Each animal has a complete case file—not just a name on a list.

  • Intake details, source contacts, photos, identifiers, markings, and weight
  • Behavior, care instructions, notes, custody, documents, and chronology
  • Litters stay connected, and completed cases can be archived without losing history
02

Medical care that stays actionable

Care work belongs with the animal, not in a separate stack of paperwork.

  • Medical records, exams, tests, treatments, procedures, and care notes
  • Medication plans, intake protocols, recurring schedules, and reminders
  • Record actual care against the correct animal with the supporting context nearby
03

Adoptions and connected people

Move inquiries through a visible adoption process while keeping people and animals linked.

  • Adopter profiles, applications, status progression, and history
  • Contacts, households, locations, foster connections, and intake sources
  • Shareable adopter-facing animal profile PDFs when the team needs them
04

Daily dashboard and follow-up

Start with the work that needs attention instead of hunting for it.

  • Animal counts, care reminders, recent activity, and record-attention items
  • Quick paths into animals in care, active fosters, and placement work
  • Responsive search and case-file views for day-to-day staff work
05

Documents, reports, and exports

Support the work around animal care without scattering the paper trail.

  • Linked documents for forms, veterinary files, foster agreements, and contracts
  • Animal and people records connected to the work they support
  • Operational reports and spreadsheet-safe CSV exports
06

Team access and accountability

Set up the people who help while protecting the rescue’s records.

  • Invite staff and fosters, assign roles, and manage organization settings
  • Keep organization workspaces separate from one another
  • Maintain important care, custody, note, document, and action history

A better way to coordinate fosters

Give staff the oversight they need—and fosters a view made for foster care.

Staff can manage foster homes, capacity, availability, emergency contacts, active placements, and placement history. Fosters do not need to navigate the full staff workspace to see what is expected for the animals in their care.

1

Staff assigns an animal to an active foster home

Placement is tied to the animal and foster profile, with capacity and history kept in the rescue workspace.

2

The foster sees only their active placements

The Foster Portal is focused on the foster’s own animals, rather than the rescue’s staff-only management screens.

3

Care instructions and scheduled tasks are ready in context

Fosters can see the rescue-provided care instructions, feeding instructions, important foster-visible notes, active alerts, and tasks due for each animal.

4

Responses feed back into the shared rescue record

When a foster completes a task or adds a weight entry, the work is recorded against that foster animal so authorized staff can follow up from the same system.

How the foster phone experience works

Fosters get the information they need while they are with the animal.

The phone experience uses the same PetRescuePro system as the staff workspace. It is designed around a Foster Portal with simple bottom navigation: Today and My Animals.

01

Open Today for what is due now

Fosters see the rescue-configured care tasks due for the day, grouped by their assigned animals. A task can be marked complete with an optional note about what happened.

02

Open an animal for its care details

Each active placement shows the animal’s photo when available, basic details, foster start date, care and feeding instructions, foster-visible notes, active alerts, and today’s care.

03

Add a weight when the rescue asks for one

The foster can enter a weight, choose the measurement date, add an optional note, and review the animal’s recent weight history. A due weight-check task can be completed from that same flow.

04

Use reminders with permission

When the foster enables notifications on their phone, PetRescuePro can schedule the care reminders configured by the rescue and open the matching task when the notification is selected.

Phone-app status: the Foster Portal and iPhone runner are in the PetRescuePro source. Before it is distributed through Apple’s channels, it still needs Apple signing and final testing on a physical iPhone with the live rescue configuration. The browser and Windows experiences are already part of the same codebase.

The information you trust us with

Protect the work, not just the login screen.

PetRescuePro is structured around organization-owned workspaces. The goal is simple: the right people can do their work, while other organizations and unrelated roles cannot see or change it.

A

Private organization workspaces

Rescue records are designed to be owned by an organization and separated from the records of other organizations.

B

Access that fits the role

Staff and foster users are given the parts of PetRescuePro appropriate to their work, instead of one wide-open screen.

C

Connected record history

Care, custody, notes, documents, and important operations are kept connected to the relevant animal or profile.

D

One shared source of truth

The web app, Windows app, and future phone app are built from the same PetRescuePro product and connect to the same organization workspace.

Plain answers

What PetRescuePro is—and what it is not.

Is this just a foster app?

No. Foster coordination is one part of a larger rescue operating system covering animal intake, medical care, adoptions, contacts, documents, reports, and organizational access.

Will the foster phone app be a separate database?

No. The Foster Portal is a focused view of the same organization workspace. Staff and fosters work from the same connected rescue records, with role-appropriate access.

Can we keep a complete history after an animal leaves care?

Yes. Completed cases can be archived while their connected history remains available to authorized staff instead of disappearing from the rescue record.

Can our team use a browser instead of installing software?

Yes. PetRescuePro has a full browser workspace, alongside the Windows application. The phone foster experience is being prepared from the same product source.
